It is the custom for a jeweler to use ring display boxes in his show window. These boxes are rather expensive and in the course of time, the velvet or other cloth covering surface used in connection with said boxes becomes faded, requiring the jeweler to either scrap the entire box or return it to a factory for recovering. The present invention enables the jeweler to readily himself remove and replace the covering material, thereby in the course of time, effecting a substantial saving.
