FIGS show another alternate embodiment. In this embodiment, box has a cover that is dashingly connected to shell  For this purpose, the cover is provided in the back with two downwind extending ears . Each ear is provided with a round aperture . The shell  is formed on its sidewalls with two depressions , each supporting a respective boss .

12-212-3

The bosses  extend into the respective aperture  thereby capturing the cover. The ears and the depressions  cooperate to allow the cover to pivot with respect to the shell between an open and closed position, the open position being shown in phantom lines in. The insert and the shelf  have been omitted from FIG and  for the sake of clarity.
